Be Bop Deluxe: The Making of ‘Futurama’

This interview features Bill Nelson, Founder, Singer and Guitarist of Be Bop Deluxe, speaking about the band’s second album, Futurama (released in 1975).

 

Filmed at Cherry Red Records, Bill reminisces about bringing Charlie Tumahai (Bass), Simon Fox (Drums) and Andy Clark (Keyboards) into the band, recording the album at Rockfield Studios, and working with Roy Thomas Baker, who also produced Queen.
